In this MyFreeCams review, I take an in-depth look at MFC and find out if, as its name suggests, it really is a cam modeling platform that you can use for free. Ultimately, I’m going to tell you if this live cam site is worth checking out!
So, let’s get our skeevy caps on: this is your first-hand account of MyFreeCams!
MFC looks less like a live cam superstore and more like a flea market for people who like to get nude in front of their webcam.
However, if you’re willing to surpass the overall presentation of this live cam site and focus on what it actually offers, you’re going to find that it falls in line with its reputation as one of the most storied and popular sex cam sites to have ever graced the internet.
I wish I could say I knew all about MFC since puberty, but I honestly didn’t have a clue what exactly this live cam site had to offer its visitors.
Much like the clitoris or the ghost in the girls’ bathroom, all I knew about MFC back then was very little. Aside from the fact that it’s a website where you can watch girls get nude and stick stuff inside them for money.
That’s an oversimplification, of course, and one I remedied when I started my camming habit. By that, I mean watching live cams…not performing in them (heaven knows I’ve been paid to keep my clothes on whenever I offered someone a lap dance or a late night foot rub).
Seriously, though, MFC has a lot to offer.
I can’t say I had high hopes initially, but I’m more than happy to admit that I was wrong to think that this is your run-of-the-mill cam site.
When I say that MFC has a lot going for it, boy do I mean it:
Right from the get-go, my little brain damn near shut down just by the sheer information overload that MFC’s homepage provided.
It was akin to being bombarded with so many suggested live cams that you start to think that maybe you should be doing something else more productive.
You know, “too much of a good thing…” and all that.
But, no! I couldn’t back out.
Anyhoo, to say that MFC’s homepage has a lot of cam girls is an understatement. The fact that the overall site layout looks like it hasn’t been updated since Obama’s first term also doesn’t help. It is not a pretty site (pun absolutely intended) to be completely honest.
Once my eyes had their fill of MFC’s “site design”, I decided to head over to the sidebar to create an account. It took me a minute to figure it out due to all the text on the screen.
In any case, I was finally able to locate where I could sign up for an account. It’s on the upper right corner of the homepage, at the top of the sidebar and search filters.
Task complete.
Opening an MFC account is free, and I appreciate how MFC checks your username availability in real time instead of having to click “submit” over and over again until you find one that’s okay to use.
Once I keyed my username in, I was then redirected to this page:

MFC wouldn’t even let me create an account, at least at that point in time, for reasons, which I guess is my ISP’s region.
I mean, I couldn’t have been banned, considering it was my first visit and all!
Yup, it was a disappointing experience and I could have called it quits right then and there.
Thankfully, I gave it another chance.
Whether it’s my magnanimous nature or simply because I was too much of a horny a-hole to pass up online titties when I’m in front of them, I went against my initial instincts and decided to check out MFC some more even if I was only using a guest account.
As casual as a zoomer on a dating site, I thoughtlessly clicked on one of the featured model thumbnails that I thought was adequate for me to check out on the homepage.
I was not disappointed. I mean, wow!
I didn’t expect to luck out this quickly and find a hot cam model who was actually showing some skin inside a public chat room, especially on a free cam site like MyFreeCams.
The usual case is that these “free” public rooms are lobbies where the models wait for clients to take them to a private chat room for the fun stuff…you just see them sitting in front of their webcam wearing more fabric than what you’d find in a Nike sweatshop.
But this? I’m inclined to think that I struck a bit of gold with MFC.
Of course, it’s still not perfect.
The trademark crappy site interface that MFC possesses can still be found here. For one, the live feed is dwarfed due to how cramped the chat room is.
Sure, the chat window on the right side is pretty much standard when it comes to cam sites, but why did MFC have to include a sidebar that shows all the members inside the room right beside it?
Definitely outdated, and takes away from the cam model that you’re watching when you see yet another wall of suggested thumbnails right below the live sex cam area too.
Yes, it’s great that MyFreeCams supports their performers by doing this, but maybe don’t make it at the expense of the cam model you’re currently checking out?
The live feed on this sexting site doesn’t have a lot of buttons that you can fidget around with the same way you do on other cam sites.
No, sirs and madams, there aren’t any interactive toy options or marketing gimmicks (like “surprises” and “gifts”) here. This is as streamlined as you can get when it comes to live cams.
At this point, I really appreciate the simplicity.
It’s also nice that you get a generous amount of options as to how you want to stream your cam model, from the stream type to the video resolution. Aside from that button, you just have another one for volume controls and one to toggle fullscreen mode.
Clicking on the “menu” button, which is at the bottom of the live feed, will show a pop-up of the model’s general profile. Speaking of pop-up windows, there are a lot of them here on MFC, as you’ll discover as we journey into this live cam site.
Going back to the profile, well, it’s detailed, to say the least.
So much so that you really have to take a minute if you want to read up on them.
On top of the live cam feed, you’re going to see a link to the cam girl’s “whiteboard”. This is basically their tip menu where you can see what services they offer and how much they charge for each.
In this cam model’s case, they also offer interactive online games where you get to see their nips if you win.
SCORE!
But back to the tip menu.
You should know that MFC cam models charge based on their own rates, so you’re going to find that prices vary from one cam girl to another.
There are arrows on top of the live cam feed, too: one on the left and one on the right. I will have to say that I like this feature, since it allows you to scroll through the available live cams on MFC easily for some fast-paced masturba– research.
As is the norm, the arrow pointing left shows you the previous cam girl in MFC’s queue, and the one pointing to the right directs you to the next one up.
And I will say this, I started to forget how shitty MFC’s site interface is just by looking at some nice online nudity right in front of my screen.
Here’s a close-up of the chat window. Good lord, this takes me back to a time when people thought wearing elephant jeans and Fred Durst were cool.
All comic sans and primitive emojis aside, you can see that guests (like me) are muted by the model. Most of the cam girls tend to do that here so that you get more enticed to create a free account with MyFreeCams.
Clicking on MFC Share, which is another small button that you can find on top of the live cam feed (if you squint really hard), I was redirected to a whole new tab in my browser that features one of the most interesting things about MFC: a content-sharing platform.
MFC Share works pretty much the same way as something like OnlyFans.
Here, you’re going to find uploaded content like image sets and pre-recorded videos that MFC models either share for free or sell as premium stuff for their viewers.
And even if you’re on a new tab here, you can see that MFC doesn’t let you miss whatever cam show you’re watching by providing you with a mini player on the lower right of the screen. And it doesn’t look too shabby either.

Given that I was able to enjoy myself browsing MFC even as a pathetic, little guest, I decided to give the account creation process another chance.
As you can see, the message was giving me false promises again. Since the most likely reason that I couldn’t become a member during my first try was because of my ISP address, I then decided to activate my VPN in the hopes that that would solve the problem.
And it did.
Nope. That’s not a good thing. This just means that MFC isn’t necessarily a widely available camming site, which sucks.
But hey, given that we’re living in a world where you can easily get a VPN means there’s nothing stopping you from accessing this cam site. It just takes a little more work than usual, is what I’m saying.
MyFreeCams allows you to create your free account by either hooking your Google or Twitter account to their site. It’s a nice and convenient way to become a member and one that doesn’t require time-consuming forms that you have to fill out.
And done. I had my free account.
Had it not been for all those regional restrictions and whatnot, this would have been an all-too-easy process, but as that one guy who refuses to visit their local psychologist says: it is what it is.
Yuck.
I was then redirected to the MFC homepage, and you’re going to notice this every time: the site takes a second to load all the available cams and hook you up with some sweet online models.
Goes to show that MFC likes to do most things in real-time, although most cam sites do; this just makes MFC’s presentation look all the more dated.
Since I already had my free account, I decided to buy some tokens so I could more actively participate in one of their many cam chat rooms. As you can see, they only accept credit cards nowadays, but PayPal was also an option up until recently.
No biggie; I was going to use my credit card anyway.
And if you’ve read my other cam reviews, you’d know that most live cam sites and I haven’t had a great track record when it comes to payment processing.
In fact, I could already smell that whiff of having my credit card declined, especially when I saw that they also use CCBill as a processor: one that I’ve encountered before and had declined my CC.
So, yeah, I didn’t have high hopes that I could buy tokens here on MFC.
Off I went to key in my card details. And as Nate Diaz put it: I’m not surprised, mother******s. No dice; my card got rejected yet again. I then decided to try and use Netbilling as a payment processor.
As always, I carefully keyed all the details correctly. Who knows? Maybe I’ll finally get to buy some of those damn MFC tokens.
Turns out, I can’t. Ugh.
“Haw haw! F*ck you!” said MFC’s payment process.
I could have emailed their customer support team, but that’s too much of a hassle just to get some tokens for a live cam site, so I just decided to drop it. I hope that you don’t experience this when you try to buy some for yourself.
That worked just fine, so yeah. What the hell, MFC?
Even though I wasn’t able to buy any of the site’s currency, by no means did I hit a dead end.
And that makes MFC such a great option, especially if you’re looking for a free live sex cam site where you can watch cam models quickly, easily, and like a total freeloading douchenozzle (like me, basically).
I went back to the homepage and browsed the available online cam models they had at the time. Unlike on most other cam websites, hovering your cursor over a model’s thumbnail won’t give you a preview of what’s going on inside their chat room.
Instead, you’ll have to click on a teeny tiny camera icon on the upper right corner of each thumbnail to access a pop-up window that shows you what’s going on inside their room.
Oh, and this is one thing that you should definitely know: MyFreeCams ONLY has cam GIRLS.
No, there aren’t any cam boys or trans cams here; just female cam models. So, it’s not exactly an LGBTQ+ friendly cam website. As long as you like cam girls, then you should be fine though.
I was really surprised when I discovered that MFC has one of the most efficient search engines among all the live cam sites that I’ve checked out.
Not only can it handle multiple search terms, but it even categorizes the results to make sure it gives you something that you might be interested in!
They also have a filter that you can access, and it’s one of the most detailed I’ve ever seen. However, it’s also tedious. Just looking at it reminds me of having to wear button-up shirts to go to the office and stare at excel sheets all day.
And I do not like button-up shirts. Hell, I don’t like shirts at all. I’m writing this while I’m topless, all the sweat dripping from the tip of my nipple hairs while I pound on the keyboard like a mare in heat.
Sweet dreams!
Seriously, though: I commend MFC for having filters this detailed, but it lacks diversity. As you can see in the image, the filters are all based on the models’ popularity, rating, and region. Not one filter categorizes them by, say, breast size or hair color.
Like I said, MFC has a lot to offer even the most token-strapped users. For one, they run contests on the site, which then helps their models a lot by handing them cash prizes.
As far as I know, they do this “Miss MyFreeCams” contest on a monthly basis.
MFC, as I mentioned earlier, also has some of the most detailed model profiles that you’ll see on a live sex cam site. Without context, you might even think that the cam girl profiles on this platform were made for a casual dating site.
Speaking of, since most MFC cam girls are technically independent performers, you might even luck out and find one who offers escort services, which means you can date them in real life, you dirty boy/girl!
As far as the sidebar is concerned, it might not look like much but it can provide you with nice filters. Although, again, most of the filters that you can see here are based on model ratings and popularity (no genre-specific keywords).
There’s a small section where you can find model tags and chat room topics, though, so at least you can check those out if you’re looking for a specific genre or category.
And for some weird reason, MFC threw in a notes section for their members:
I really have no idea why they added this feature, because journaling isn’t necessarily something I associate with fans of live sex cams.
Then again, “dear diary, today I saw a hot Russian teen squirt a bucket-load of hot juice using a 24-inch dildo” has a nice ring to it, so maybe that answers my question.
Now, this might be an acquired taste, but I do like how you can bookmark your favorite models on MFC:
Instead of having an icon that you simply click on to bookmark a cam girl, MFC requires that you drag and drop their thumbnail into the “bookmarks” section on their sidebar. Generally speaking, it’s a crappy way to do things, but I like the novelty of it for some reason.
The thing about MFC is that it’s pretty much a casual-friendly live cam site in that even the most frugal perverts can enjoy what the site has to offer.
That is no more apparent than in their premium membership offer.
Whereas most other cam sites provide their users with premium memberships that are paid on a monthly basis, MFC bucks the trend by giving you a lifetime premium membership the moment you make your first token purchase.
This drove my disappointment toward their poor payment process home. I mean, come on: I could have been a premium member! Damn it!
Here’s the thing, though…
MFC isn’t all too transparent with what the premium membership entails.
All it says on the exclusive MFC instructional Wiki page is that you’re going to get “full access” to everything they have to offer, but not anything about what those are.
Oh, and did I say “Wiki page”?

That’s right, folks: if you want to learn about how MFC works, then you’re going to have to do some goddamn research. I’m not sure, but maybe this is the live cam site’s way of promoting literacy worldwide.
Or maybe MFC just thinks that FAQ sections are for weenies.
It’s not light reading, to say the least.
MyFreeCams is far from perfect. It has an ineffective payment process, it’s not widely available unless you use a VPN, it only offers cam girls, and the site is sorely dated.
However, if you’re willing to look past those flaws, you’re going to discover that MFC has more to offer than other cam sites out there, much less other platforms that tout themselves as “free” cam sites.
From watching legitimately free shows without tokens or an active membership to the content-sharing option, detailed profiles, effective search tools and entertaining cam girls, I can’t help but say that it’s rightfully one of the best cam sites working today.
No wonder MyFreeCams has lasted this long in the industry!
