If you are searching for a specific town, like uncanney says, yeah try a bigger escort site in Canada...quick search takes me to escortaffair too - I haven't used this site before, so I can't vouch for it, but most escort sites I HAVE used basically look the same. Not necessarily dodgy, but maybe the interface could use some updating.
Aside from trying your standard escort sites, you can also find escorts in "disguise" on local forums/groups like Craigslist, Backpage, etc...be careful because these sites are often barely moderated and you def don't wanna run into any dodgy situations
